About me

I have been a journeyman electrician for over 20 years, More than 10 years ago I began buying and renovating homes for profit. At one point I owned several rental properties at a time so I know the economics of revenue properties. I am semi retired now at 53 years old because of my success at flipping units but like to stay busy. All my licenses are up to date as well as insurance. I like to stay busy in the cooler months, but I scale back in the golf season. I am a one man operation so I don't have the need to keep any employees working to pay the bills, so I prefer not to take on large or laborious jobs. I think of myself as a problem solver more than a laborer. My strength is experience, doing it right is important, but at the same time understand the necessity for a 'temporary patch' in the right place and time. Nagging issues normally have roots that can be found and fixed rather than re-patched, my experience helps me to know if I'm the right guy to find them or if a professional should be callled. On larger projects I can offer design help and coaching as I have been the primary contractor for my own projects many times and know when work is being done properly or sloppily. Kitchen and bath design are personal favorites of mine. I have some before and after pictures . Appliance repair and installation is something I do on a limited basis, more on the technical side than the hauling side. I can adjust cabinets plumbing and power, but prefer not to move fridges up and down stairs by myself. My overhead is low and I enjoy my work so my rates are very fair. I like to work for seniors and they get both special rates and treatment. I like to help keep people in their homes as long as I can. I am a non smoker and my pants stay up with the proper use of a belt. My language is quite mild for a tradesman I'm told . I enjoy a sense of humor and think of myself as non judgmental. I like to think of myself as a friend who does not work for free, but just enough to keep all happy.

Ken did a fantastic job and completed the work promptly. He took the time to talk me through a few different options to find the best solution for me and even helped with other to-do items while he was here. I would definitely recommend!

Replacing Kitchen Cabinet Doors and Hinges
We would recommend Ken to anyone looking to get some work done around the house. He is upfront and honest about the job, what it entails, and how long it will take. When on site, he does the work efficiently with a pleasant manner and is not afraid to ask questions or confirm with the homeowner what they would like accomplished. We would definitely use him again.
